Frequently asked questions
What if I can not make it?
I completely understand that life can sometimes get in the way of plans. If, for any unforeseen reason, you can not make your session, you are more than welcome to reschedule it for another time.
If you need to cancel altogether, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance, and I would refund your deposit.
Otherwise deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to a future booking, so you won’t lose out.
My aim is to keep things as stress-free and flexible as possible — for both you and your dog.
What if the weather is not great?
If the weather isn’t great on the day of the session, don’t worry — we can easily reschedule for a nicer day. I want your dog to be happy and relaxed, and the photos to look their best, so we’ll pick a day that works for everyone. But rainy photos can also look fabulous.
What if my dog does not behave?
Don’t worry if your dog doesn’t behave perfectly — I work around every dog’s personality. Feel free to bring their favourite toy or some treats to help them feel comfortable. Whether they’re playful, shy, or full of energy, I’ll capture their true character and make the session relaxed and enjoyable for both of you.
Will you take a photo of me?
Yes, if you allow me! While your dog is the star, I’m happy to snap a few photos of you too — though it’s more likely that your hand or foot will make an appearance alongside them. Perfect for capturing your special bond!
Where are the sessions held?
Sessions are mainly held outdoors in Barnsley’s lovely parks, fields, and woodland. If your dog has a favourite spot where they feel happiest, we can head there instead — somewhere they can be relaxed and themselves.

What is the best time for the shoot?
The best time for a shoot is usually early morning (the earlier, the better) or late afternoon, when the light is soft and golden!
I work part-time, so the most convenient days are Mondays or Saturdays, perfect for a relaxed session with your dog.
We don't have a set date yet, can we still message you?
Of course you can. I really likes dogs, so any chance to talk about yours is a bonus for me.
Are the travel fees included in your packages?
They are not. The £100 session fee, covers any sessions within 10-miles radius in Barnsley area.
